Cold start to Thursday
The record low for Lincoln Thursday is -4 and it was set over 100 years ago! We’ll be very, very close to that record low early Thursday morning.
We’ll try to warm up Thursday afternoon, but the snow on the ground will keep that from happening in eastern Nebraska. The further west you go, the warmer it gets.
Unfortunately, the wind will be blowing out of the southwest at 10 to 20 mph much of the day, so the wind chill will have a bite to it.
The average high for early December is in the lower and middle 40s. We won’t get that warm again until early next week. And that’ll be short lived!
