LATEST: Suspect arrested after stand-off with Columbus Police identified

UPDATE: Columbus Police have identified the man who led officers on a pursuit and was arrested following a standoff Monday.
CPD identified the suspect as 35-year-old Justin Dittmer.
Dittmer fled from authorities who tried to stop him around 12:42 p.m., eventually crashing into a yard near 3rd Avenue and Air Vista Drive in Columbus.
Police say Dittmer ran from the crash scene and broke into a nearby, unoccupied home.
Believing Dittmer was armed, Columbus Police requested help from the Nebraska State Patrol S.W.A.T. team.

A search warrant was obtained to enter the residence, and with the assistance of the NSP SWAT team, Officers entered the residence and arrested Dittmer on the following offenses:
Possession of Stolen Property
Driving During Revocation
Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle to Avoid Arrest
Willful Reckless Driving
Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident
First Degree Trespassing
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Dittmer was taken to the Platte County Jail.
CPD says the investigation into the incident continues and additional charges are anticipated.
