Cool Tuesday with a small precipitation chance

We’re going to be a little cooler than average on Tuesday with a small precipitation chance. We warm back up for the rest of the week with another small precipitation chance on Thursday.

State Snow Accum No Numbers

A minor disturbance will push across northern Nebraska during the day bringing with it a chance for some minor accumulating snow. The best chance for those minor accumulations are mainly in the panhandle and northern Nebraska, but a few flurries and some light rain/snow mix will be possible along and just north of I80 Tuesday.

Above is what a recent model has for snow/mix potential through Tuesday. Notice how the better chance for accumulating snow is north.

Lincoln Tomorrow Hour By Hour

Temperatures are going to be a little above freezing during the afternoon in Lincoln, so if we do see precipitation, it could be both light rain and snow. Freezing rain isn’t looking likely.

Tomorrow High Dma

The further north you go, the colder it’ll be. We could see some lower 40s near the KS/NE border. Overall, these temperatures are very close to normal.

3day Lincoln Forecast With Hourlies

After Tuesday, we warm back up into the middle 40s on Wednesday and near 50 on Thursday. Some light mixed precipitation comes back into the forecast on Thursday.
