Cooler air on the horizon

Temperatures are going to be well above average all the way through the weekend, but relief isn’t too far away. We’ll eventually see cooler air by the beginning of next week.

Until then, it’s going to be hot. Highs on Friday will be in the lower and middle 90s, which is 5 to 10 degrees above average.

Klkn Forecast

However, similar to the last couple of days, the humidity won’t be too bad. When the dewpoint is near or below 60 degrees, it doesn’t feel as muggy outside. That’ll be the case on Friday!

Tomorrow Dewpoint Dma

We do this again on Saturday and Sunday with highs in the middle and upper 90s and dewpoints near that 60 degree mark. By Monday, a cooling trend begins.

Along with the heat Friday and through the weekend, we’ll see plenty of sunshine each day. That starts to change early next week. There is going to be a chance for showers and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday. The chance is relatively small, but it’s not zero. Hopefully if you are in need of some rain, it heads your way!
