Cooler Saturday, then rain and snow possible Sunday

The weekend will start off a little cooler than the last couple of days, but still mild. Highs will be in the 40s, 50s, and 60s across Nebraska.

State Forecast Highs Tomorrow

Then on Sunday, the chance for rain and snow starts to increase. Most of this will try to be snow, but rain will mix in every now and then. Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.

Less than an inch of snow is expected for parts of south central and SE Nebraska. A little more is possible in far SE Nebraska into Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.

We won’t see a lot of rain, but what little does fall will take away from the snowfall potential. For example, a tenth of an inch of rain means 1″ less snow.

Freezing drizzle/rain is also possible, but the better chance for that is further south.

After Sunday, and unsettled weather pattern sets up and rain and/or snow will be possible on and off through much of next week.
