Cooler with more storms in the forecast
After highs in the 80s on Tuesday, we’re going to cool off by about 10 degrees for highs the rest of the week. We will continue to have chances for storms on and off through the rest of the week and into the weekend.
Storms will be possible Wednesday morning as a warm front lifts to the north. There could be a strong to severe storm mixed in as they move north.
After those storms move north and weaken, we’ll see temperatures warm up into the upper 60s and lower 70s. A little cooler than Tuesday was.
Then another round of storms moves in Wednesday night into early Tuesday. Strong storms are possible with this line, as well.
The storm system pulls east overnight and brings with it a line of storms through Lincoln around 5am. Strong to severe storms will be possible… mainly a straight line wind threat.
There is a level 2, “Slight Risk” for severe storms on Wednesday. Any storm that gets going has a chance to become severe.
After the storm chances Wednesday and Thursday, we will likely catch a break on Friday with only a small storm chance.
