Cooling off, but only briefly
After a very warm day on Wednesday, we cool off a little bit on Thursday.
We’ll see highs on Thursday in the 50s to the north, 60s across the middle, and 70s to around 80 for southern Nebraska.
These cooler temperatures are associated with a weak cold front, so a spot shower will be possible on and off. It won’t amount to much.
Smoke will be an issue again as Kansas is still doing their burns and with a south wind, that smoke will push into Nebraska.
An Air Quality Alert is in place through Thursday morning.
After another mild day on Thursday, we cool down briefly on Friday, then warm back up as we head through the weekend.
