Dangerous driving conditions continue in Lincoln as snow starts to taper off
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln snowplows were busy Tuesday morning clearing off roads ahead of the morning commute.
Streets remain covered and packed with snow across the Capital City.
Wind also picked up early Tuesday to gusts more than 40 mph, making driving conditions even more dangerous.
Officials said drivers should expect reduced visibility from blowing snow and winter driving conditions.
The city said snowplows continue to treat and plow emergency, school and bus routes, as well as residential areas.
A parking ban remains in place in Lincoln for those areas. You should also move your car off the street if you live on at an even-numbered address.
