Delta Air Lines to continue middle seat blocking

Good news is you won't have to share armrests on Delta flights (at least for another year)

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Delta Air Lines announced that they would be extending middle seat blocking and limiting capacity through April 2021.

They are the only U.S. airline to continue providing more space for flyers, they’ve been blocking middle seats and reducing the number of people on board a flight since April 2020.

“We want our customers to have complete confidence when traveling with Delta, and they continue to tell us that more space provides more peace of mind,” said Bill Lentsch, Chief Customer Experience Officer, in the Delta news release. “We’ll continue to reassess seat blocking in relation to case transmission and vaccination rates, while bringing back products and services in ways that instill trust in the health and safety of everyone on board – that will always be Delta’s priority.”
