LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting a girl multiple times.

James Hall, 39, is facing first-degree sexual assault of a child and two other charges.

A judge set his bond at $750,000. He would need to pay $75,000 to be released.

The girl, now 14, reported the abuse on Dec. 1, according to court documents.

She underwent a sexual assault examination and told police that Hall had been assaulting her since 2020.

The most recent assault happened two days earlier, an arrest affidavit says.

Police said Hall voluntarily gave a DNA sample during an interview.

They then sent that sample and the sexual assault test kit to the state crime lab.

And Hall’s DNA matched DNA collected during the sexual assault examination, the affidavit says.

Hall was arrested Monday.

He is due back in court March 11.
