Douglas County officials investigating ‘possible human remains’
OMAHA, Neb.(KLKN)- On Tuesday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to 216th Street and Rainwood Road in reference to possible human remains found in the area.
According to a press release, there were no apparent signs of criminal activity but the unconfirmed remains may have been there for an extended period of time.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office tip line at (402) 444-6000.
