The total now sits at 99 and even more could be on the way.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Dozens of additional cases are being dropped following the recent Nebraska State Patrol evidence room thefts.

That’s according to a new report the Lincoln Journal Star shared with the Associated Press.

It says local prosecutors have dismissed another 33 cases.

This latest update brings the total to 99 dismissals and more could be coming.

Just this past September officials announced a former evidence technician stole more than $1,000,000 worth of drugs, compromising cases throughout our state.
