Dozens of former Tyson workers in Lexington relocate to other facilities, union says

LEXINGTON, Neb. (KLKN-TV) — Dozens of former employees at Tyson’s plant in Lexington have begun to relocate, according to the union that represents hourly employees. A union spokesperson said that the former workers are being relocated to other Nebraska facilities.

So far, the union president said, 120 employees are and counting have transferred to the Dakota City plant.

The union noted that the exact numbers for other locations are still being evaluated. Channel 8 has reached out to Tyson twice for comment on the relocations but have not heard back.
