Dry for a while and warm
A near normal day expected on Friday. Temperatures will start in the lower 60s, but warm up into the 80s fairly quick.
Highs for everybody will be in the middle and upper 80s. We might see a few 90s, too.
The dew point won’t be incredibly high, so the heat index shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
We may see some strong to severe storms in western Nebraska Friday afternoon and evening.
Because of the potential for these storms, the Storm Prediction Center has the area in a level 1 Marginal Risk.
For Lincoln, it’ll be dry the next several days with a small storm chance Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will be near normal.
