Dry on Tuesday, but more rain chances are out there
The sun will come back out on Tuesday, but a little smoke and haze will be possible (wildfires in Canada). More storms will be possible Wednesday and through the rest of the week.
Other than some smoke and haze, Election Day is looking very quiet. Mostly sunny skies are expected with a high in the middle 70s.
The better chance for thicker smoke is to our north, but some of it will try to make it into eastern Nebraska by the afternoon.
Highs on Tuesday will be very close to average for most of us. We might get to 80 in the Tri-Cities!
Storms become more possible late Tuesday then again during the day on Wednesday. There’s a small chance on Thursday.
Above is what StormCast is showing for the best chance for rain on Wednesday as a disturbance rolls through around noon.
