Duplex fire near Air Park

Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews were called to a duplex fire near NW 48th and W Adams just before 11 Monday morning.

Neighbors say there was thick black smoke coming from the vacant side of the building.

3 engines and 2 trucks were called to the scene to put the fire out. 

Residents were evacuated, there were no serious injures.

No word yet on what caused the fire.
