Easter weekend forecast
Temperatures are going to be very mild the next several days. Our average high is in the middle 60s for early April, but we’ll see highs in the 70s and 80s for the week ahead. Precipitation chances are small, but a few showers will be possible Sunday, then again next weekend.
Saturday is going to be a mild and sunny day. We may have to deal with a little haze/smoke early in the day from prescribed fires in Kansas, but hopefully that doesn’t last long, if at all.
The wind won’t be terrible, but it’s still going to be a little gusty. A south wind sustained at 10 to 20 mph may gust up to 35 mph at times.
After Saturday, we increase the clouds and see a chance for some isolated rain showers on and off. Most of us will be dry, but grab an umbrella, just in case.
Here’s a look at what one model says for rain Sunday. Most of us will remain dry, but a few light showers are certainly possible.
