Father’s Day Weekend forecast

Storms will be possible on and off this Father’s Day weekend, but it’ll be cooler than it’s been lately. Don’t get too used to that, though. The heat comes back next week.

Storms will be possible on and off on Saturday, with the better chance late afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will top out in the lower 80s, which is a few degrees below average.

Storms will be possible for much of central and SW Nebraska early Saturday morning.

By noon, the storm chance makes it into eastern Nebraska.

On and off storms will be possible through the afternoon and into the early evening hours.

After Saturday, we dry out and see only a small chance for storms on Father’s Day. We start to warm back up, too!
