First confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Dakota County

Dakota County announced Sunday evening the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The Dakota County Health Department announced Sunday evening the first and second cases of coronavirus in the county.

The first case is a woman in her 30s, the second case is a woman in her 40s. The health department is currently investigating both cases for any possible exposures.

Tonight’s total number of cases is 814, with 17 total deaths.
