First responders on the scene of ‘serious’ injury crash in west Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Crews are on the scene of a serious injury crash in west Lincoln on Tuesday.
Just after 2:30 p.m., Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire & Rescue were sent to a crash between a motorcycle and a car in the area of Southwest 23rd and South streets.
According to LPD, the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
In a video sent to our NOW Local News App, you can see the motorcycle and car involved in the crash.
According to a Channel 8 reporter on scene, the motorcycle was about 100 yards away from the car.
LPD asks everyone to find an alternate route during the investigation and clean up of the crash.
South Street from Kostal Drive to Southwest 26th Street is closed for the time being, LPD said.
