Five more COVID deaths in Lancaster County

Coronavirus Update

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Officials with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) report five more COVID deaths for the county, bringing the community total to 126.

The deaths included a man in his 80s, a man and woman in their 70s, and a man in his 60s who were all hospitalized, and a woman in her 60s who was in a long-term care facility

Additionally,  190 COVID-19 cases were reported, pushing the community total to 20,314.

The county is reporting 5,939 people have recovered from COVID-19, up from 5,879.

As of today, 105 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 (63 from Lancaster County). A total of 11 are on ventilators.

The positivity rate in Lancaster County so far this week is 28.5%.
