(LINCOLN, Neb.)- A Lincoln business is raising money for a good cause, to beat pediatric brain cancer.
“Andy is a runner,” said Lori Borer, owner of Fleet Feet in Lincoln. “So, it really tied in nicely with that and so we’re coming together were partnering. Our whole goal is to just raise more awareness about Team Jack. ”
Fleet Feet is holding a virtual run to benefit the Team Jack Foundation. As you many of you may know, Jack Hoffman had pediatric brain cancer.
Recently his dad, Andy, announced he had a cancerous brain tumor. All the money raised from the miles for Team Jack will go to help find a cure for this terrible disease.
“I think with everything the family has done for this community and across the US really to raise awareness and raise a lot of money for childhood cancer awareness,” said Borer. “I think this is something we can all come together and do for this family during this time and give back to them a little bit.”
