Foggy with some light drizzle, slick spots possible
Temperatures have finally made it back above the freezing mark of 32 degrees. It had been a while!
Lincoln was below 32 degrees for 11 days and 12 hours!
That’s nowhere close to the record, though. Back in 1978, Lincoln was below freezing for over 46 days!
Not that we’re above freezing, it seems like we don’t want to go below it now. All day Tuesday will be at or above 32 degrees!
This will continue into the week, as well.
Along with the warmer temperatures, we’ll have gray skies, some light rain/drizzle, and some freezing light mixed precipitation.
Because of the light mixed freezing precipitation, the southeastern corner of Nebraska is in a Winter Weather Advisory for the potential for some icy roads.
Most of Nebraska is in a Dense Fog Advisory through noon Thursday.
With this added moisture, some untreated surfaces, overpasses, and bridges may see some slick spots.
