Food Bank of Lincoln, local grocery stores offer easy way to donate

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — As the year comes to an end, some Lincolnites are looking to do a little more good for the community.

And the Food Bank of Lincoln and several local grocery stores are making it a little easier.

They are packing “grab bags” with nonperishable goods that you can buy at the store and donate at the checkout.

On the bag, you’ll find a total donation amount and a receipt.

While paying for your groceries, you can also add a $1, $5 or $10 donation to the food bank.
