Former Husker Alex Gordon to be inducted into College Baseball Hall of Fame

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Husker legend Alex Gordon will be inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame next year.
The class of 2023 will be inducted on Feb. 14 at an event in Overland Park, Kansas.
Gordon, a third baseman, played at Nebraska from 2003 to 2005. He won several player of the year awards in his final collegiate season.
The Lincoln Southeast alum went on to play for the Kansas City Royals, where he was a three-time All-Star and eight-time Gold Glove winner.
Gordon also earned a World Series ring in 2015. He retired after 14 seasons with the Royals.
Gordon was inducted into the Nebraska Baseball Hall of Fame last year.
