Free fries from McDonald’s to battle our blood crisis

The offer is available to any customer who donates this week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) –  Here’s some incentive to donate blood this week: free McDonald’s fries!

Local locations are offering a free small fry or a free cookie to anyone who rolls up a sleeve.

McDonald’s is showing its support for the American Red Cross and the Nebraska Community Blood Bank after a national blood crisis was declared.

Any customer who shows proof of their donation will be eligible for one of the free snacks.  McDonald’s is offering this until Feb. 5.
