Germanfest is being celebrated in Syracuse, Nebraska

A big celebration is taking place in Syracuse.

"It’s a great day to be out here in Syracuse and enjoying the Germanfest festivities," said Tammie Mead.

The annual German heritage celebration was held in Syracuse, Nebraska.

It features family–friendly events all day long.

Some of these events include a grand parade, ribfest, dog races, tractor pulls and much more.

The day full of festivities concluded with a concert.

Aaron Watson took the stage at 6:30pm.
