Getting cold with a snow chance Saturday
It’s going to be a cold day on Friday with highs mostly in the 20s, 30s, and a few 40s southwest. It’s just the beginning of a cold snap that will last through the weekend.
For Saturday, highs will be a LOT colder with highs in the teens for much of the eastern half of the state.
Starting Friday night, snow will start to move into the state and will linger into Saturday morning. Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.
The heavier snow will be well to the northeast. A trace to 1″ is possible from Lincoln over to Valentine and Chadron. 1-2″ from O’Neill to Norfolk to Omaha.
