Girl receives unexpected birthday present as Omaha zoo’s 1 millionth visitor in 2022
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Papillion girl received an unexpected present during a trip to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo for her birthday.
Juliana Hunt turned 4 on Thursday and had one request for her mom: to ride the carousel at the zoo.
As Jeanina Hunt entered the zoo with her daughters, Juliana and 7-year-old Camila, they were greeted by a swarm of zoo staff.
Staff informed the family that, among them, was the millionth visitor of the zoo in 2022.
Not only did zoo staff sing “Happy Birthday” to Juliana, but her family received a golf cart tour of the zoo, along with giraffe and sea lion encounters.
The Hunt family also received a free yearlong zoo and aquarium membership, a gift basket, ride tickets, theater tickets and a zoo gift card.
