Golf cart, 3,000 feet of copper wire stolen from York ethanol plant

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Deputies are investigating after a golf cart and about 3,000 feet of copper wire were stolen from a York ethanol plant last week.
The York County Sheriff’s Office says a black 2020 Club Car Carryall 100 golf cart was stolen from the Green Plains – York Ethanol Plant.
Roughly 3,000 feet of copper wire and 1,000 feet of coax cable were also stolen.
The sheriff’s office says the theft happened sometime overnight on March 5.
Deputies are now working to identify any responsible parties in the theft.
