Gradual warming trend into the weekend

Clouds will start to increase as we head into the overnight hours tonight resulting in overnight lows to be a bit warmer in the upper 50s. After midnight, a few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible for most of eastern Nebraska until around 9am. The rest the day will be on the drier side with mild highs in the upper 70s and clearing skies. Another round of isolated showers and storms are possible overnight into early Thursday morning. These small rain chances will continue into the weekend and temperatures will return back to average in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
