LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- It’s National Agriculture Week Nebraska, and we’ve got to be in one of the best states to celebrate.
Agriculture is more than Nebraska’s number one industry, it’s the heart and soul of the state. Nebraska ranks first in the country for commercial cattle slaughter.
Agriculture continues to be Nebraska’s largest economic driver and job creator, supporting one out of four jobs. Plus, it contributes to more than $21.4 billion a year to the state’s economy in 2019.
