Heat and humidity is back

After a hot day on Sunday, temperatures will be at or just above average (85) for the next several days. Precipitation chances will be minimal, but we do have a few chances here and there.

Most of Sunday is going to be dry, but hot and humid. Temperatures will be close to 90 degrees by noon and into the middle 90s by the afternoon. Add in the dewpoints that will be close to 70 degrees and we have a good chance at seeing triple digit heat indices again.

We will have another chance for showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, as well. It will likely wait until the evening hours and may linger into the overnight. There is going to be a small chance that storms that do form become severe and if they do, we would see some hail and damaging wind. After the storm chance Sunday night, we’ll be dry for much of next week.
