Heat continues into next week
The 90s continue for the next several days with precipitation holding off in eastern Nebraska until Friday and Saturday. Storms, however, may drop quite a bit of rain in western Nebraska Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Hot again on Wednesday with highs in the lower 90s. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds with a southeast breeze.
Middle and upper 80s for most of us in central Nebraska, lower 90s in the east. Cloud cover and the chance for rain will keep those in western Nebraska cooler.
Above is what StormCast is saying the radar may look like Wednesday into early Thursday. Rain chances are highest in the western portions of the state.
For Lincoln, the better chance for rain will be Saturday. However, that may come with a chance for severe weather. We’ll be keeping a close eye on that.
