Heat continues through Friday
The heat and humidity is going to stick around through Friday, then let up a little for the weekend. We warm back up early next week before cooling back down again next weekend. Storm chances are small, but there are chances!
For tonight, the temperatures slowly cools off into the middle and upper 70s.
The heat index also drops off, but it’ll still feel like 90 by 11pm.
Through Friday, there is a Heat Advisory and Excessive Heat Warning in place for the eastern half of the state.
The temperatures will get to around 100 degrees once again Friday.
The dewpoint will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
So we will once again be dealing with very high heat indices.
But by Friday evening, storms associated with a cold front starts to move in and brings will it some cooler air!
And by cooler, I mean the upper 80s and lower 90s for highs.
