Heat headed our way
Well, spring has been pretty nice so far. A warm up begins tomorrow!
Not all of us will get to 90 degrees on Tuesday, but it’ll be close. Upper 80s and lower 90s expected for highs in the afternoon.
The dew point, however, won’t be terribly high. Lower 40s to the lower 50s are expected, so it won’t be overly humid.
The smoke should be taking a bit of a break, too. It won’t be perfect, but the heavier smoke will have shifted to our northeast for a day or two.
Our next chance for storms comes our way on Wednesday. For Lincoln, it would be mainly after sunset.
Some areas may see storms a little earlier. A cold front may spark a few afternoon storms in NE Nebraska Wednesday.
The heat remains for the next several days. LOTS of upper 80s and lower 90s in the forecast!
