Heat sticks around until Friday

Conditions overnight tonight will be just like how it was last night, dry and quiet. Temperatures will once again drop down to the upper 60s and lower 70s with clear skies that will last throughout your Thursday. Tomorrows highs will be a degree or two warmer than today with heat index values easily approaching the triple digits. This could be the last day in a while that we see such high temperatures because by Friday we drop to the lower 90s, and then the 80s into the weekend. Much needed rain also returns to the forecast over the weekend and into the start of the new work week.
