Heat wave continues
A mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky is expected the next couple of days. The heat and humidity sticks around, too. Cooler air with a chance for rain moves in for Friday and there’s a small chance for more rain Saturday and Sunday. Near normal temperatures will be around for much of next week.
Excessive Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories continue through Thursday. A heat index near 105 is likely in the advisory area while the heat index will be closer to 115 in the warning area.
We aren’t going to cool off much tonight. Temperatures will fall into the middle and upper 70s, which is 10 to 15 degrees above average.
High temperatures Wednesday afternoon will once again be in the triple digits.
The dewpoint will be a little lower, but not by much. It’s still going to be muggy.
Because of the heat and humidity, the heat index will once again be in the 105 to 115 degree range.
If you do need to be outside, the earlier the better!
