Heating back up, storms chances as well
After a much cooler than average day on Thursday, we start to warm back up on Friday and it’s just the beginning of the heat.
After the 80s on Friday, we climb into the 90s for highs over the weekend. Those 90s stick around all of next week, too.
The storm chance starts to increase on Friday, as well. The Storm Prediction Center has us in a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for storms.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential Friday evening.
There is another chance for severe storms on Saturday. We will once again be in a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms to start the weekend.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential Saturday.
We do need the rain, so if we can dodge the severe weather, we may be able to continue to eat away at the drought, which did show improvement this week!
