The sheriff’s office tells us a westbound Chevy pickup, driven by 39-year-old Heidi Parrish of Talmage, Neb., lost control due to road conditions, crossed the median and struck an eastbound Ford pickup driven by 56-year-old Keith Schriner of Adams, Neb.

Parrish was pronounced dead at the scene. LSO says Parrish was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Schriner was rushed to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
