Hit-and-run crash in north Lincoln sends one to hospital; suspect still at-large

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The suspect in a hit-and-run crash in north Lincoln is still at-large after sending one person to the hospital.
Around 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to the area of 48th and Holdrege streets for a multi-vehicle crash.
Investigation shows a 2020 red Dodge Ram pickup was driving recklessly on on 48th Street and drove through a red light at the intersection.
According to the police department, the pickup crashed into a Mazda M3 sedan that was driving west on Holdrege, and then crashed into a Kia K5 sedan that was driving south on 48th.
The driver of the pickup got out a took off on foot after the crash, and the pickup was later determined to be stolen, the police department said.
Officials said the driver of the Kia was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are still looking for the driver of the pickup.
