Hot Saturday, storms Sunday
We have one more day of well above average temperatures in central and eastern Nebraska Saturday, then we start to cool off.
The dew point will be reasonable, so the heat index won’t be too much of an issue.
The heat index will still be high for some, but we all know it could be a LOT worse.
If you’re headed to the game, be ready for a hot one!
Then on Sunday, a frontal boundary will push up some storms Sunday afternoon in central Nebraska. Those storms will then move east into eastern Nebraska by sunset before the die off.
Because of this threat, we have a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms Sunday.
After Sunday, we slowly but surely start to cool off into next week.
