Husker pitcher Koty Frank enters transfer portal

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Pitcher Koty Frank is leaving Nebraska and entering the transfer portal for his final year of eligibility.

Frank made the announcement via Twitter on Tuesday.

“Nebraska and everyone associated will always have a place in my heart,” he wrote in the tweet.

During the 2022 season, Frank pitched 59 innings and had 70 strikeouts in 14 games.  He ended the season with a 5-0 record and a 3.81 ERA.

The senior was named the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week in April.

Frank came to Nebraska after spending two seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State College.
