Husker softball sets attendance record, defeats UCLA in three-game series
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska softball is making it’s case to host an NCAA Super Regional this May.
A program-record 8,383 fans witnessed the Huskers win two of three games against No. 7 UCLA this weekend.
No. 9 Nebraska (26-6, 8-1 Big Ten) defeating the Bruins (25-5, 10-2) 8-4 in the final game on Sunday. The series win is Nebraska’s first top-10 series win since Michigan in 2013.
Nebraska is set for a midweek game against the Creighton Bluejays in Omaha on Tuesday.
