Huskers land commitment from former Texas WR Marcus Washington

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Huskers have secured a commitment from former Texas wide receiver Marcus Washington.

Washington made the announcement via social media on Tuesday.

Washington spent the last three seasons at Texas, where he played in 31 games and started eight.

Last season, he caught 18 passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns.

Another former Longhorn, Casey Thompson, also announced his commitment to the Huskers earlier this year.
