Brian Walshe indicted on death, disappearance of wife, Ana Walshe

COHASSETT, Mass. (WLNE) — 48-year-old Brian Walshe, of Cohasset was indicted today for the January death of his wife, our sister-station WCVB 5, Boston, said.

The Norfolk County grand jury indicted Walshe for the murder of his wife, Ana Walshe, misleading a police investigation, obstruction of justice and improper conveyance of a human body.

“Brian Walshe entered a plea of not guilty to the charge of murder at his Quincy District Court arraignment in January,” District Attorney Morrissey said.

“This indictment moves the case to the Norfolk Superior Court, where it will be arraigned anew in the coming weeks. That date has not yet been set,” he continued.

Ana Walshe’s body has not been found. Police have located personal items of hers and DNA evidence found at a Peabody transfer station.

It is believed by authorities that Brian Walshe killed, dismembered and discarded his wife’s body parts.

Ana Walshe was reported missing by her Washington D.C. employer in early January.

Brian Walshe remains held without bail and will be arraigned on these new indictments at a later date.
