Department of Health to pass out Narcan for Overdose Awareness Day
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said Sunday that they will pass out thousands of Narcan later this month.
The Department of Health said on International Overdose Awareness Day, which is Aug 31, they will train people how to use Narcan to “#EndOverdose”.
RIDOH said they are looking for volunteers.
Narcan can treat an overdose in an emergency situation.
