1st non-stop Breeze Airways flight from Warwick to Los Angeles takes off

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Breeze Airways had its first non-stop flight from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday.
The 8 a.m. takeoff launched the first of four non-stop flights scheduled for this week. Three more are set for July.
Breeze opened a base at T. F. Green in March. The airline is hiring 250 positions including pilots, flight crews, and support staff.
Breeze will also provide non-stop flights to Tampa, Florida, Jacksonville, Florida, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Pre-existing routes from T.F. Green include Charleston, South Carolina, Norfolk, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
