Football legend Adam Vinatieri takes part in Clays 4 Charity event

RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — Football legend Adam Vinatieri partnered with the Preserve Sporting Club and Residences to host the Clays 4 Charity event over the weekend.

The resort put together outdoor sporting activities around the event, including horse riding, fly fishing, ATV tours, and a dog training seminar.

The NFL Hall of Famer joined the opening ceremony.

“Obviously I love football, but some of my biggest passions are my family and the great outdoors,” said Vinatieri, the National Football League’s all-time leading scorer.

All proceeds from the event go towards charities including Ducks Unlimited, The Wounded Warriors Project, and Arthritis Foundation.
