2 men charged in connection to white nationalist flyers plead not guilty

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Two men charged in connection to white nationalist flyers posted in East Providence pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday.
Stephen Farrea, 32, of Portsmouth and Austin Conti, 26, of Yuma, Arizona, were charged with obstruction of an officer in execution of duty and for violating a city ordinance posting signs to poles.
According to East Providence police, they got a call about flyers on poles near the Gordon School last month. Upon arrival, police found five men with staple guns.
Police said the men belong to the Nationalist Socialist Club 131.
Both men were released on $2,000 personal recognizance. They are expected back in court in August.
